Recently, the German customs requirements in the cargo manifest must have 6 or not less than 4 HS code! Otherwise, the goods will be seized by the Customs!
At present, Maersk has shipped the first notice. From October 16 onwards, the request to export to Germany or transit to the German port of the goods must provide the goods of their HS code! If not provided, will not deal with the owner of the shipping instructions! Not in the specified time to submit a complete and accurate instructions for the goods, the goods are likely to not on board!
In fact, other shipping companies also have relevant provisions. Therefore, the recent export of goods to Germany, or through the German port transit cargo owners, freight forwarding, failed to provide the goods HS code as soon as possible to fill, to avoid customs goods or not on time delivery, etc., resulting in unnecessary losses.
